The Forester model is my first knife to introduce to the bushcraft world. The Forester is designed to be a more compact and nimble blade over a knife that would be considered to be more traditional. With a cutting edge of 4 inches you're allowed a greater level of control vs a knife with 4.5 inches or greater cutting edge.
My goal is to make a knife with better performance than most bushcraft knives on the market. My edges will be thinner and heat treat will be harder but still staying within a range suitable for the task. These knives aren't designed to bust cinder blocks or cut steel chain but should stand up to normal bushcraft wilderness tasks without a problem.
