Renegade Custom Order (deposit)

  • Regular price $50.00

When I drew up the Renegade I wasn’t sure what its purpose would be. After completing it and thinking about it I’ve decided this would fill the role of a field knife well. While unconventional in design I believe this knife would lend it self well to a multitude of tasks.

Blade: 3.5 inches

Custom Renegade

Chose tapered tang, ironwood burl and hi vis orange liners, copper hardware. I changed my steel from S-90 to Magnamax, so far I'm liking it. Perfect grind, fit and finish, the rounded thin edge geometry just bits right in to whatever your cutting. Kyle is known for making a knife that cuts and holds it's edge. I had Kyle round off the back of the handle of mine for more versatility. This is my 3rd knife from Kyle. I have the prototype X-23 in magnacut @ 64.5 and a Apache in S-90 @ 63 with ironwood burl and orange liners as well.I have used both of them extensively, nothing beats his heat treatments. Looking forward to testing the magnamax during this deer season with processing tasks.
